I wanted to thank you all for being so helpful to organise our little society weekend.

We all had a great weekend and could feel how much attention and time you gave to us. We felt very welcome by everyone, your team is charming, efficient and flexible. Spot on in every way. Congratulations. I am sure you treat all your visitors like that and hopefully people do talk about it. I certainly will.

Our thanks too to all of the staff. All welcoming and professional.

I just wanted to thank you so much for allowing us to use Littlestone Golf Club to host our annual match against the Kent Colts last Sunday.

As always you made us very welcome and we all had a very enjoyable afternoon with the course in superb condition.

The fairways were of course a little bare, not surprising because of the long spells of hot weather we have experienced this year, however the greens were just like lightening and were truly exceptional as was today’s weather, it was almost like a barmy summers day !
W e were made very welcome at the club by one and all and the staff on duty at lunchtime in the bar area were very professional and we all thought the catering was of a very high standard and perhaps you might like to pass on my comments and thanks to Sarah Saunders and just mention to her how much we enjoyed the day playing at your club.

We had a wonderful day and all who played want to return. The staff as always were great. Adrian as always goes the extra mile
Welcomed us when we arrived, looked after us when we came in from golf. Food very high quality served in a friendly manner. Course as always up to Championship standard.

I would just like to write a general ‘Thank You’ to everyone at Littlestone Golf Club who helped to give us a memorable afternoon of golf last Thursday. I booked two 2-balls from 3.00pm as we were travelling over from Willingdon Golf Club in Eastbourne. The staff in the pro shop could not have been more friendly and we were very grateful to the barman who was about to close at 7.00pm but realised we were in desperate need of liquid refreshment and happily stayed open while we had a couple of pints each.
The course itself was breathtaking and we loved everything about it. The greens were superb and easily the best we have putted on all year.

Please pass on our thanks to all your staff. We hope to return again before the summer is out.

J ust wanted to let you know we played today in the competition and had such a lovely day including a very warm welcome, lovely breakfast, incredibly well maintained course and very enjoyable carvery.
We didn't win any prizes but was worth driving all the way from Chelmsford, so please thank all those repsonsible !

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for last Friday. Everyone who played thought the course was in beautiful condition. To be honest your greens are absolutely immaculate. We all had a great day.Please thank the caterers as well. We do a rating on ham egg and chips from different courses and your’s is currently top of the leaderboard.
Anyway, many thanks for all your help and I hope you have a great year.

I played Littlestone as a guest on Friday afternoon, as part of a group from Thorndon Park Golf Club in Essex, and wanted to praise the welcome and atmosphere of the club .Your two female bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful, your starter a great, convivial character and several members proactively came to speak to our small group. A superb instance of a club genuinely welcoming all those with an interest in golf, and an example for supposedly 'regal' clubs along the Kent coast to follow. And an enjoyable and challenging course too.

I have to say sorry on my behalf, as we played with you on the 8 April and I haven’t thanked you for the day on behalf of the society .We all had a great days golf, possibly the best in the past year, the course was very good and the assistance from the Pro Shop excellent. We most certainly did enjoy our day at Littlestone GC – what isn’t there to enjoy! Excellent course, sunny weather (supported by a stiff breeze to keep you honest), excellent company, good food, my favourite beer (Harveys) –oh, and I came 3rd! Need I say more ?Please thank Andrew and the bar/catering team for looking after us so well. Pie & Strawberries were just the ticket

On behalf of the KCLGA, I would very much thank Littlestone golf club for allowing us to play the above match yesterday.
All the girls really enjoyed the experience, in tough windy conditions. The course was in superb condition, especially the greens and many of the matches went down to the final holes. The club house hospitality was also excellent and the food delicious.

It was my pleasure to visit the Club today, and WOW! 
It was wonderful to see the place thriving with golfers everywhere filling both courses and the bar doing a lively trade. 
You are all to be congratulated for the superb job you are each doing to bring the venerable old lady into the 21st century.
It is a great delight for us older folk to see the Littlestone we love so well alive and healthy.

We really enjoyed our golf at Littlestone and the reception and welcoming we got at the club was second to none. The service in the bar and pro shop was very good. We are not that used to playing links golf and this is what you get in it´s purest form at Littlestone – fantastic! We found the course challenging and a stiff breeze (at least we thought it was…) made it even more difficult - we loved every moment of it. The course itself was in very good condition with quick greens.

Obviously, with our victory on Friday, the team will view the Littlestone week warmly.

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our viist to Littlestone on Sunday. We had already played at Royal Cinque Ports and Princes and the overwhelming view was that Littlestone ranked above these.The condition and presentation of the course was excellent and the welcome in the clubhouse was much appreciated.Luckily the weather cleared just as we teed off but the course still provided a very stern test of golf.

Many thanks again to everyone at Littlestone for making our visit so successful.

  Wi thout doubt the friendliest club I've visited (though Royal Dornoch is a very close 2nd). Beautiful links course and like all courses presumably very different depending on the wind. Good mix of long and short par 4's and 3's, great practice facility. Much more reasonably priced than the other links courses around the kent coast. A real gem

  Dear Sarah,  I must email you to thank Littlestone for hosting our August meeting yesterday. I received nothing but compliments about the course, the bar and catering staff and the way we were looked after.Please pass on our thanks to all the staff who were so polite and helpful from the moment I arrived at 6.45am to the moment we all left in the early evening.I must mention Adrian who was our point of contact on arrival and was very helpful and understanding with the alterations and amendments that I received over the weekend. The last time we visited Littlestone was 17 years ago when Ernie Maidment was our Captain and a member at your club and were delighted when we were allowed to revisit you yesterday. Please pass on our thanks to your Board and hopefully we will have the pleasure of revisiting Littlestone for another Members meeting in the years ahead.

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to play at Littlestone last week. It has been a real treat and I can only say this is one great track. I have rarely experienced a course where I could remember almost every hole after the very first time going around - a clear sign of the high quality of the layout. I think I could play Littlestone every day and it would never become bland.

I will certainly recommend Littlestone to our readers as one of the finest places to play in Southern England. It may take a while to get the article out as we unsually have to cover many current events during the peak season but I will send you a PDF file as soon as we have it published.
